    Who wins?

This year and 3yp I can see them being the same but that could be the leaf in me.

this year... It's Rielly by a margin.
    Next year likely as well.
it's hard to peg Dahlin's ceiling as he's rising so quickly.
    is it 70pts? 80? more?

hard to say more than 80, when we haven't had a Dman hit 90 this century.
    short term - Rielly
    long term - wash.

    win now move is Rielly

Tough call. I think Reilly will be the better option for 1-2 years but Dahlin looks to be the real deal and could become one of the most coveted fantasy players in the not too distant future

I think Dahlin is/will be the better player. But you're probably talking about the top 2 dynasty D-men assets (in fact, I think I may have read that in a ramblings or some other post on here recently). So it's tough to go wrong. But Rielly and the Leafs are obviously ahead of Dahlin and the Sabres at this point. With that said, Dahlin is gaining ground and the Sabres generally are improving their overall talent/depth (finally).

So as others have said, I'd expect Rielly to come out on top this season by a fairly decent margin. But I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Dahlin catch/surpass Rielly within 2 years. He really is a special player.

Who would I rather build my fantasy D around for the future that would be Dahlin if I had to choose between the two. For right now in the moment I would rather have Rielly on my team.
