I'm kindof on the same page as Rodgort here...There's a chance kaprizov doesn't sign, and another possibility he does and doesn't do all that well. Unless Kaprizov is a guy you plan to keep among your 14 keepers, this is essentially moving Bergeron and Radulov for Marner. Which is expensive but not unreasonable if you are trying to put together a new young core.
Depending on how competitive you are this year, it might not be a bad idea to start moving on from 33 and 34 -year-old players. There's only so much time they will maintain this level of play. But if you are in your window right now, as in a good shot at the title this year and next, I don't think you make this move. Get the wins and bragging rights.
