Not great advice because he's not exactly under the radar but having watched the games this year, hes the real deal. I am hard on my prospects and players despite being Canucks fan but this kid is unreal out there. His breakouts and puck control. Even his defending has shocked me early on. Edler is having a great start and I wish him good health but the odds are he will get injured at one point this season and this kid will take over PP1. Once he does that, I see 50 points as early as this year.

it is a good time.. the points aren't there, but the underlying numbers are screaming for the points to come.
Another 1-2 games without points and Hughes could see drops in non-minors pools.

I have already done it and added him. Other then Victor Hedman on my team my D core is extremely young in Chabot, Makar and Quinn Hughes. That will either be a huge mistake or it will turn out fantastic.

I'm in a rebuild in one of my leagues and I picked QH up in the summer. Glad to hear this kind of appraisal from someone who is tracking closely. Much appreciated!

Looking good since taking over the top PP. 6 points in 9 games.

Is offering Yandle straight up for him too much?

Depends. One year league? If it's a keeper, how many do you keep? I still will take Yandle to out point him this year.

Exactly. Your current situation is also an important factor, are you building or in a win now? In the right situation, doing Yandle straight up for QH is a great move and not an over payment IMO.

Hughes has been handed the keys to the car. Edler, as good as he's been, is just a passenger now.

The kid is legit another 3 apples last night. Him and Makar will be the 1/2 Calder candidates.
