Default Hedman - low shot volume

    Are we concerned at all?

I know he has 5 assists in 6 games, but only 5 shots on goal.

SOG aren't a category in my league, but I'd like to see some goals!

He has only been over 200 once, but last year dropped back to 182.

His career shooting % is 6.8, and he's been between 10-17 goals every year since 13/13, mind you only been 15+ 2 x.

I know there are a lot of shooters on Tampa, but he's still their #1 D man. I'm actually shocked most seasons he's around 22-23 minutes, you'd think he'd see more.

He goes a few games with SOG, and he'd be fine. But really, when Stamkos and Kuch are on either side of you, why would you really force shots.

Just saying less than 1 shot/game is super low, even with Kuch and Stamkos, as they pass well too. He’s usually around 2 per game. If he doesn’t pick it up, he won’t even crack 10 goals. I drafted him first round, Top 7 but first D off board (Carlson and Rielly were there too), so just expecting more is all.

Crazy overreaction here. Last year he had a stretch of 6 shots over 7 games. Magically he turned out OK.

    Hedman had 182SOG over 70 games in 2018-19 (2.6/game)
Hedman gets 177SOG in the next 76games he'll match his 2018-19 production. (2.2/game)

To get to 2.6/game over 82games, he needs to finish with 213.2sog. He's at 5sog over 6games, so pro-rate this all he needs 208 over the next 76 games. or 2.7/game roughly.

It's 6games. 7% of the yr. It's too early to suggest this is his projection.
