Gibson for Holtby straight up

Gibson right now. Could fluctuate, but I'm worried about Holtby with Samsonov likely cutting into his starts and don't know where he'll be playing next year.

I'm going to say Gibson. The net is clearly his. It's possible Holtby begins losing starts to Samsonov this year.

It looks obvious that everyone would say Gibson right now, but the long run it is still Holtby. The Capitals team is much better than the Ducks and will get more wins and once Holtby gets straight he will be racking up 30 plus wins.

I want Gibson here. Even with a team that has been not good at times, he has been very good.

Anyone who says Holtby hasn't owned this guy in the last 3 years, consistently getting worse and worse, a win stat isn't worth this guy destroying your weeks, I've lost faith and cut bait while I could and never been happier.

The early writing could be on the wall for Holtby at least early in the season while he works on things in practice. After being pulled in the last game after seeing just 3 shots and letting them all in and Samsonov coming in, todays game was suppose to be Holtby's. Well Ilya Samsonov will be getting the start again after essentially playing the majority of the last game. Gibson is certainly the safer bet right now until Holtby gets it together.
