Lehner v. Ullmark

For the league in my signature. Lehner was just dropped.

Three options:
1. Keep Ullmark, leave Lehner on waivers.
2. Drop Ullmark, add Lehner
3. Keep Ullmark, add Lehner, and drop a forward (likely Carrier or Coleman).

I prefer to roll only 2 goalies but willing to roster 3 of itÂ’s the right call.

Thoughts?

i'd add lehner and drop carrier. Markstrom is out for a few games, so you might not get any goalie starts this week with what you have.

Over the next 3 years, if I wanted to go back down to two goalies, who would you rather keep: Lehner or Ullmark?

A. The one that wins the starting job.

Ullmark right now is the 1b to back up in Buffalo. I would not fully trust Markstrom as your #1G. I think at least temporarily - you need to carry 3.

Lehner over Carrier was the right call. Don't drop Coleman in a format like yours - he should get snapped up ASAP.

Hard to answer as Lehner is on a 1 year deal and we don't know what his situation will be like this year, let alone next year. Right now, with your goaltending, I'd be inclined to hold all three until there is more certainty. Gun to my head and you are making a decision in the short term, I'd drop Ullmark (who likely will be a 1A/1B at best this year and next).
