His quality start percentage over his career is over 58% with 53% being about league average. Fickle is when you get around 50%, and don't know what you are going to get. For example, see Fleury over the years.

He's an elite goalie, who has changed teams and normally starts slow. If this is a guy you don't want anywhere near your roster, you should draft his backup, and the backups of a few other workhorses, and make sure to simply get no goalie starts all year by making sure you can bench them when they are announced as the starter.
you sound a lot like a sour owner....everybody is allowed their own opinion...dont need to get upset about it...

The part in bold is exactly why I said he is fickle. And I'm hardly underestimating Bobrovsky when, as you can see in my later posts, I called him a top 5 goalie (and arguably top 3) even with his fickleness (i.e., inconsistency). When Bobrovsky is on his game, there are few better. He can be a frustrating goalie to own, but that can be said for most goalies.

Not a sour owner at all, but I will try and make sure not to give my opinions where they aren't wanted.

Seriously, I need to vent here again!

What a disaster he has been so far. I always keep thinking he cannot get any worse and then he goes and do a total dud like yesterday. The dude simply cannot stop a puck to save his life. It's unreal!

This is not what I was expecting at all when I selected him with my second pick in two pools. He's killing my teams just by himself. He's such a liability.

He’s struggled at times for sure so far this season but has also shown some flashes of excellence as well. He’s had very strong performances so far against good teams like TB, PIT, and BUF to go along with the bad outings. The Panthers are a solid team with plenty of firepower to get him W’s and good coaching. I think in the long run this season he’ll still end up as a top 10 if not higher goalie.

I've owned Bob for a number of years in one pool. Two things I've learned. One - owning Bob requires patience (especially at the beginning of the year). Two - Bob has been really good at the end of the year (i.e fantasy playoffs). While I was expecting a much smoother transition to Florida, I will just ride this out.

Was there a team in the league with a tougher October schedule than Florida?

His months are November, December, March.
I just added Bob via waivers in my shallowest league (not the one below). His owner must have had enough, as it's a simple ESPN H2H points league and his season total is in the minuses. He's just a slow starter, and he's getting adjusted to a new team on top of that. I'd try and buy super low, as you could be laughing come March and April.

He's a buy low imo. He could get lit up again this afternoon with the top two in Edmonton flying but even if that happens he's going to come around.
