Drop Dubnyk for Smith or is it an illusion?

I have Dubnyk and it's killing me knowing Smith is sitting there winning games. Too early to make this swap? Minny very well may be a basement team by end of year...
Let me know your thoughts please!

Your guess is as good as mine. Goals seem to be way up in the NHL. A lot of goalies are getting shelled. Some not so much. Who / what is to blame - no idea. In my league, non-traditional goalies are disappearing like they're the second coming. In the last few days, Andersen, Quick, Saros and Varlamov have all been dropped. Brossoit, Smith, Jarry and Reimer have all been picked up.

In my opinion, the latest performances are the best indication of future performances so I may drop Dubnyk for Smith. With that said I am great at finding the latest diamond in the rough, but also give up on players too quickly in the attempt at finding the latest diamond so take my advice with a pound of salt. I am very aggressive in my drops and pick ups.

I'd grab Smith, he should be the Oilers starter, and is better than everyone they had there last year.

If you can keep swapping them out it could be worth considering... but Dubnyck is the starter while Smith may be a time share or go through months where he plays backup to Koskinen.... the fact that he's 37 and on a one year deal whereas Koskinen has 3 years at $4.5M makes me nervous about Smith's deployment... that said the Oilers need to win so who knows? You'd be dropping a starter for a goalie who may only start half the games.
