I like both, but am bigger on Scheifele. But the Jets situation right now is shakey. In next week or 2 it gives you a better look at how each player is performing and maybe what type of add on you could expect to ask for.

The one small benefit is that I own Mathews and spurgeon in this league and likely will get a few less conflicts. Small bonus. Also, wpg has better off night schedule if I remember correctly. Might help with my waiver wire streaming at C.

If they take your above counter. Then do that trade.
You get younger in both spots, while also seeing an increase on d-man side of things and I believe that you don't lose out on forward. Heck I think you win out there too. Scheifele still has another level to show.
Tavares showed his top last season for overall pts; could crack 50 goals in perfect shooting season.

Tough call. Subban is the wildcard here for me. Will he gain traction in New Jersey and put up 50 plus points with solid peripherals? He should. But that is the dilemma. If he does I think you win this deal by a slim margin. If not, then the fact that Tavares holds a wee bit more value than Scheifele with these settings would make me want to stand pat.
