Hello all,
I wanted to revive this thread - to thank you guys for helping me rebuild a team I took over this year!
I made a few trades throughout the year and my keepers went from Point, Toews, Nylander, Muzzin, Dahlin, and Schneider to my current keepers of P.Kane, Hughes, Svechnikov, Debrincat, Yandle, and Markstrom (I also have March which I would like to keep so will need to make some trades).
I took some advice in the thread which I believe helped out my team quite a bit - like adding some players for a banger league - so feel free to provide any other suggestions as we right this ship!

If you aren't competing this year, I think I'd be very willing to deal Markstrom, and try for an elite D back with another goalie who might be keepable, but isn't right now.

I was pondering that as well - and Demko or Samsonov could be a potential starter for me next year - or even drafting someone early.
What sort of D do you think would be great targets for Markstrom? Obviously, starting goalies have value in a 16-team.

Going after an elite young D man like DeAngelo, Fox, Hronek to name a few would really help you. You got some good bangers on your back end but with the exception of Yandle, not to may scoring defencemen. Not sure if Markstrom has enough value in your set up to get it done, but a fishing trip to find out might be a good idea.
