    #Chargers holdout #MelvinGordon will report to the team on Thursday, told today to the #ClevelandPlainDealer by a source close to the situation.
    Gordon has been a contract holdout since the start of training camp. Gordon will become an unrestricted free agent in 2020.

    It’s not going to be all that shocking if Ekeler keeps his role and Gordon is returning to the Justin Jackson role. Ekeler has kinda been better than Gordon has ever been, and was better last year too.

    I dont see that happening. I just think they have a system where the RB succeeds no matter what.

    Well yea because running talent doesn’t matter, but Ekeler has still been better than Gordon the last two years.

    - 6th of 61 RBs in PFF Grade (83.6)
    - 7th of 56 RBs in Elusive Rating (67.6)
    - 6th of 56 RBs in Yards per Carry (5.23)
    - 7th of 31 RBs in Yards per Target (7.62)

    ... and was better than Melvin Gordon in each stat.

    Melvin Gordon is gonna leave in FA apparently. So why not run this guy into the ground and save Ekeler for the future IF Gordon has the team winning.
