Keller or Nylander

Exactly what I was thinking. I want the guy that is going to lineup beside Matthews every night and not Stepan or Schmaltz.

+1. This is my thoughts as well. Having Matthews as his center full time, I think Nylander is going to explode this year. A lot of things have to line up for Keller to reach his potential and I wouldn't buy it until I see it.

I prefer Keller long term. I think Nylander will still be a very very good player. But the Yotes are on the rise I think and once Hayton becomes their 1C, which seems quite likely to me, their first line could be elite. Keller and Hayton could be an elite combo for years. While I think Nylander will be a top 50-75 player. Still very valuable and very good. Just not on that level.

Yotes are on the rise, the Leafs are already there. Hayton might become a 1c one day, but he won't be worthy of carrying Matthew's jock strap.
