Default How early to take Grubauer?

    League details: 12 team, Keep 8, H2H.
Goalies: Games Started, W, SHO, SV, SV%, GAA

    Current Team
    C: McDavid, Matthews, Point
    W: Ranatanen, Huberdeau, Marner (C/W)
    D: *Crickets*
    G: Andersen, Murray

Have my draft this Saturday and starting to prepare. Have picks #5, 9, 16, and 21 to start off the draft. Starters that aren't kept tend to go very early in this league, and with Games Started as a category, you really need three quality starters (+streaming some weeks) to be competitive. There are very few starters available and I think that Grubauer is by far the best. With the following available, would you be willing to take Grubauer as high as 9th overall? Or is that too high still?

    1. Bobrovsky * 1st overall owner has already said they're taking Bob
    2. Grubauer
    3. Mrazek
    4. Schneider
    5. Howard
    6. Lundqvist
    7. Rittich
    8. Merzlikens
    9. Hutton
    10. Talbot
    11. Ullmark

I would want one of Grubs or Mrazek here. If one of them is still available at 9 I would go for it.

I would want Grubauer over Mrazek myself. Depends on who is available as to whether to take Grubs with your 9th pick. You are obviously in need of some D men. You know best who holds most value in your league. Since you have two pretty damn good goalies, it might be best to let Grubs go and stock up on a few top D men or a very high end winger. But I like Grubs as a third goalie for you for sure.

I’d consider Rittich and spend your first two picks replacing the crickets.

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

I would get Grubauer with the 9th pick, but if he goes before that consider Rittich or Mrarek.

    What's the roster starting slots?

Basically, how many D & G do you need to roster?

If goalies are that valuable, why was Bob dropped? Makes no sense. I'd like to see how many starters you have at each position to get a better handle on this...

Guy with the 1st overall pick dropped Bob to try to swing a category in the finals knowing he could redraft Bob.

    As for how many we start. 4C, 8W, 6D, 2G, 5 Bench.
