Well, called that one wrong. Dominigue clears waivers and only takes up $75k of dead cap space for now.

They have Vasilevskiy and McElhinney. Of course Domingue and Condon were going on waivers. As for why it was done now, Domingue might be more valuable now as a minors-eligible guy. They can trade him 1 for 1 (helps the other team by not moving them closer to the 50 contract limit) and TB would get the extra $75k in pocket for Point and/or in-season roster management.Originally Posted by striderz
