Keep 5 -- which ones?
Hi all,
Curious to hear opinions on keepers for the first league in my signature. Wheeler can't be kept as he's been on my roster for too long, but he could be traded pre-draft for a) another player (who would then need to be kept per league rules), or b) pick(s).
I'll likely keep Bob and Marchand for sure, but am open to just about any combination of keeping or trading to maximize value.
Forwards:
[Wheeler], Marchand, Bergeron, FForsberg, Teravainen, Atkinson, ...
Defense:
Letang, SJones, Dougie, ...
Goal:
Bob, Lehner, ...

Trade Wheeler - you'll find a taker for him. I'd actually package him with Forsberg, who I think has more name value than actual value.
Then for keeps I'd go with Bob, Marchand, Bergeron, Letang, and whomever you get in trade. Or if you swap for picks, keep TT or Jones as your last guy.

Look to trade Wheeler, only downside I see is all other GM's know he's been on your team too long for you to keep anymore. So harms potential return.
Maybe look to package Letang or Dougie. That could really help sweeten the return. Hopefully netting you some good picks in return or solid player who does well in all your cats.
