Trade Giordano for 1st rd pick?

Would you trade Giordano for a 1st round pick? (5th overall)

Would give me the 5th+6th overall picks this year!

We only have to drop 3 players...so only 3 draftrounds

But we have to drop 1 of our Top 5, 1 of our top 10 and one player we want to drop!

So there are guys like

Atkinson
Giroux
Zibanejad
Trouba
Wheeler
Domi
Fleury

plus top prospects like

Makar
Hughes
Kakko

available

If so..who would you pick in the 1st round with these two picks...could you rank them?

Drop him without a second thought! Your available players are better, even if you only have them this year. Gio is long in the tooth, had career year, and the transition to Hanifin isn’t far off.

Nah, i will drop Atkinson...but 1 gm offered me his 1st rounder for Gio because if he didn‘t get a player for his current top 5 he has to drop Landeskog

That‘s why i‘m thinking about to trade him...i will probably get some good players with #5 and #6 overall!

I'd wager in any 10 team fantasy hockey league Gio doesn't get drafted in the 1st round

There are 10 teams with 22 keepers and wheeler is available? Without that list of available players I would have said hard pass considering Gio is certainly better than the 225 overall player but I dont understand how most of the guys listed are available given your cats.

If I understand right, he's in a league where every team has to throw back:

A player drafted in rounds 1-5 last year
A player drafted in rounds 1-10 last year
One more player

Hence good talent in round 1.

Seguin
Atkinson

so i have to drop 1 of that group!
Will drop Atkinson

And there‘s one gm who has

Kucherov-Burns-Ovechkin-Scheifele-Landeskog

as his top 5

And he offered me his 1st round pick (6th overall) for my Giordano so he can save his group and can drop Gio as his Top 5 drop!

I know it‘s a bit complicated but i hope you all know what i mean?
