Marchand or ovechkin?
Who is better this year and in 3 years down the road?
Both are over 30 and who can sustain above PPG and peripherals?

In a league with hits and SOG, Ovechkin will always come out as a top 5 player. Ovechkin is 3 years older than Marchand and in my opinion Bostons top line is better. 3 years down the road I lean Marchand, but if it's possible to have Ovechkin this season coming up I take him. Keep him until he just can't do it anymore. He hasn't shown any signs of slowing down yet.

I think this year it is easily Ovi who is better (he must consistently finish in the top 5 for sure every year with your cats). There is also talk of taking Pasta off the Marchand/Bergeron line which may hurt Marchand points wise slightly.
3 years from now is tough to predict, both play a tough type of game and I can see either hit a wall first, sort of a roll of the dice. However, in that time frame, I can see Bergeron definetly fall off so that will again hurt Marchand's value slightly.

Marchand beats Ovi in straight points or perhaps leagues with PIM instead of Hits. Otherwise, it's Ovi all the way.
