Which 8 keepers?
Two new teams are joining the league, so we are keeping only 8 players this year.
My choice of keepers:
Mackinnon
Marchand
Karlsson
Barkov
Laine
Dumba
Vasilevskiy
Chabot or Boeser or Risto
7 players are pretty obvious and I normally would keep D.
But, I am not quite sure Chabot could reach what he did last year.
Boeser had a sophomore slump last year, so can he finally break out this year?
Risto has ton of peripherals

I like Boeser. I don't think he really slumped but just didn't stay healthy. If he can stay healthy I see 35 goals and 70 points. Chabot is elite but I am not sold on Ottawa or that he can live up to his rookie season and Risto is going to continue to slow down with Dalin taking over.

If you don't keep Dumba, you'll be sorry - at least that's my take.
I'd go with Risto over Boeser and Chabot. When the dust settles he'll get you more value in this league than either of the other two guys, plus he could get dealt, in which case his value should skyrocket.

At this moment, Risto is a physical defenseman with a miserable +/- on a mediocre team sitting third in line on the offensive D depth chart. If that continues, then you'd be better off picking up your peripherals late in the draft or on the waiver wire. Where things get interesting is if you think he'll either get traded, or manage to supplant Montour or Dahlin.
It's hard to imagine Chabot doing better than last year given the loss of talent in Ottawa. Yes, he'll be The Guy, but he can't do it all.
Boeser's value is probably down a bit, but he's positioned to have a 70+ pt season if he stays healthy.
Actual value aside, offense tends to turn heads. I think Risto potentially has more value to you, but I think Boes is likely valued more by the pool and that his stats are less replaceable later in the draft. That is, while I like both Risto and Boes, I think it's more likely Risto is still there to draft if you don't keep him. So all of that said, my order of preference would be Boeser, Risto, Chabot.

Struggling with a similar decision in Chabot over Dumba/Risto. I feel like Risto beeing pushed down the depth chart or possibly traded remove him from the conversation. Chabot is probably going to be hyped no matter how unlikely he is to repeat and Dumba due to injury I am hoping will be easier to redraft.

I keep Chabot.
The potential of a 60+pt Dman is hard to ignore.
