I'll take Gustafsson. I'd rather the guy on PP1. Chicago's top unit is still pretty slick. Barrie can possibly hit 50 on the 2nd unit but I think Gus can push 60.
May I have your thoughts? Deciding on the last keeper. Its come out today that Babs will be aiming to use Rielly on PP1 and Barrie on PP2 which most people had predicted already. Gus had a great 2nd quarter and is unproven but should be uncontested PP1. Both on contract years similar age as well.
This year and beyond, who would you choose? Points only. Thanks!

The Barrie family is in love with money. Bet on the contract year.
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
I'd choose Gus, no reason he won't be on #1 pp.
Give me Gustafsson here but that one its pretty pretty close. We are talking about within 5 points differential between the two

Chalk one up for Barrie - he's shown his offense on a consistent level. Rielly is a more rounded dman than Barrie (ie: will be used in his own end more than Barrie), I wouldn't be surprised if Barrie sees significant time on the top PP unit.

I am going to say Barrie. He has shown to be a good offensive D-Man in the past and in the Leafs system I think he will flourish.

Gus... read yesterday's ramblings.
Barrie's about to have his PP TOI cut in half..

This indeed, and since the buds' forwards can score blindfolded, there's nearly zero chance that top PP will stall, so if Rielly has first crack at PP1 - expect a good coach to not fix what ain't broken. I was originally guessing Barrie 55 points, Rielly 60... but after recent news, I'm thinking Barrie 45-50 and Rielly 65-70.

I think it's probably a lot closer than most people think given the responses, but I still prefer Gustafsson here. He shouldn't have any competition for PP1 minutes, whereas Barrie obviously has Rielly ahead on the depth chart.
