Any clue on what players "might" be available with the 2nd rd pick?
I have the chance to acquire Malkin for a relatively good price (Ehlers + a 2nd rounder - league in signature).
How many more productive years does he have left in your opinion? I'm talking about PPG production.
Even injury prone, the possibility of him putting 90 in a season is appealing, but let me know if I'm dreaming.
If I do this move, I'm really going all-in...
My core is aging fast, but if I can make an additional run or two, it'll be worth it.
Otherwise, where is the fun?
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

The distraction that is Phil Kessel is gone. Malkin obviously didn't enjoy his scenario with him. Malkin also looks good this year, came back in better shape than he has since his mid 20s. He seems determined. Honestly he's talented enough to be right up there with Crosby and could reach 100 points again. However, he's injury prone. Realistically I would take the trade (see if he'll take a 3rd on the injury chance side) on the high reward potential and hope he can play 75+ games. That's 85-95 points.

W.Karlsson had 43 goals and 78pts 2 yrs ago ,and Ehlers had 29 goals and 60 pts in the same year.
Last year both regressed for different reasons.
I'm not sure either gets back to those numbers so I'd take Malkin.
For what it's worth I think he ( Malkin) has a bounce back year.
That is a steal of a deal for Malkin, I take it running and if/when he declines just know you made the right decision.
12 Team Keep 5 (2 F, 1 D, 1 G, 1 Any) G,A,PTS,PPP,SOG,HITS,PIMS,W,GAA and Sv%.
F: Kucherov, K.Connor, J. Hughes,, J.Guentzel, A.Svechnikov,
D: Q. Hughes,
G:Bobrovsky
Malkin is likely to be more relevant than Ehlers for as long as Malkin is in the league, and there's no guarantee that Ehlers becomes relevant enough after that to come close to evening that out.
Want a Signature? Go to Settings, and you'll find Edit Signature down the list on the left.
Malkin! Over a point per game in a bad year! 90 pts, 30-35 PPP, Ehlers isn’t close.
Make the deal before it’s rescinded!
