So, LA Kings specialists, I need you're feedback. I'm in a league and have Doughty, Quick, Kovalchuk on my team. Last season was terrible, I missed playoffs because of Quick and Doughty. Don't need to talk about Kovalchuk...

So, for this season, are we going to get the real Doughty and Quick or the same as last season ?

I think similar to last year is to be expected. However, selling them at this point won't get you much, and they can't really be much worse, so I would hold and hope they get off to a halfway decent start before you swap their name value for someone who starts in a slump.

I think LA will be an improved team under coach Todd McLellan. Not playoff caliber good, but much better than last season. I think all of their stars will see a little boost in production as a result. Again, nothing drastic, but not as abysmal as last season

I have no confidence in Quick. Doughty I think last year is a pretty good projection for the next 2-3 seasons.

better than last year... but don't expect miracles. Should have some kids playing.
Won't be surprised if some players are moved out to help the rebuild - Toffoli, Lewis, Clifford.
... sorry re-tool. Not sure they can use that word with Doughty/Kopitar locked down so long.

There should be a bounceback offensively though. Now that they have a coach who isn't afraid of entering the offensive zone. God Willie D is awful

Doughty last year was the real Doughty. In his last six seasons, he's had point totals of 37, 46, 51, 44, 60 and 45. That 60-point season really sticks out and is an aberration. Expect him to finish in the mid-40s for points, and you won't be disappointed.

Quick can be better but with that team in front of him his win upside is very limited.
Doughty has produced well below his perceived star-level name value for most of his career.
