15 goals, 50 points, monster peripherals. Health is the obvious concern, but his per-game totals are incredible in formats like yours.
I have a hard time trying to figure out where I should rank Weber.
He start the year healthy for the first time since he joined the Habs so that's encouraging but he haven't played much in recent years so it's hard to tell what kinda production he's gonna give ...
is he better than guys like OEL, Pietrangelo, McAvoy, Yandle ... ?
Thanks again

Sorry but I have very little faith in him going forward, but then again I also own petry so I am biased.
If you can get him in a later round I would do it and just play FA game when he is injured.

If healthy he could very well be ... but I'm not sure if I should go with him or a guy like Skinner or Marchessault with my 1st rd pick ...

I thought before last seasons injury Weber was a bit of an ironman. Never missed more than 5 games 8 seasons in a row or something? I don't think he is as much of a 'band aid boy' as you seem to be hoping. That said, his age is creeping up there and he is certainly not a slam dunk to stay healthy. I doubt he slips very far in most drafts though, especially in multi cat leagues.
If he does stay healthy he will likely be a top D man in any banger league. Avoid him at your peril.

With those cats I would take the risk and draft him. If it falls through there’s always dmen on the WW that can replace a D. But if he’s healthy he could win some weeks for you.
Biased, but I think he's a must own in multicat formats. He's been labelled as injury prone causing him to fall in a lot of drafts, so maybe you can get him 2nd round?
His missed games last two seasons were due to the same injury and the surgical route the team/player opted for. He was hurt during a lost season and given his importance to the team, they went the route with the long recovery timetable. It's possible he could have had a 2-3 month recovery instead but this way the knee wasn't weakened long-term for the quick fix. Otherwise his health has been pretty good throughout the career. When he did return, he was dominant. He has a very real chance of being a leading contributor in multicat formats this year.
how many 50pt Dmen give you 2.5+ SOG/gm 2+ H/gm 2 Blk/gm 15+PPP ?
The guy is a beast.
And all this 'injury risk' crap.. He's had one real injury in the past decade. It happened to be a major one that kept him out for almost a year. That second injury - no one knew it existed until they fixed the first. Otherwise he would have kept playing with the torn MCL/ACL whatever it was. No one even knows when that one happened.
Now that it is fixed and he's got last season under his belt. Gotta wonder what a fully healthy Weber can finally provide Mtl and fantasy squads.
He's about a safe a MC Dman as you can draft
