First Overall Pick (6th Round - 5 Choices)

My keepers are Kuch, Hall, Tarasenko, Pettersson, & Larkin - who would you grab first?

A) GUENTZEL (best player of the group but would I keep him next year over those guys? Only need 1 LW to complete my top 6 and there are some great ones I can get late in the draft)

B) RIELLY (Karlsson Burns Hedman Josi Krug Kling Letang J Carlson Doughty all kept. So other than Rielly and Subban, once the next 7 or 8 D are drafted, there’s a huge cliff drop for value replacement. However I could draft guys like Gudas and Zadorov late and just stack HITS and BLK w my 4 D spots. Feels risky w/o guaranteeing at least 1 PP D man but can I really pass up Guentzel in the 6th round in a keeper league...)

C) SUBBAN (Same argument for Rielly, no competition for Subban if he goes through a cold streak tho unlike Rielly)

D) DAHLIN (If I were to keep a D next year for value over replacement at the position - Dahlin seems the best keeper D available by far)

E) HELLEBUYCK (In our format Hellebuyck is great, and most opponents keep at least 1 G, but again, would I keep him over any of my 5 next year? Less goalie stats and also seems like a good year to draft a solid tandem late for W’s and SV’s)

Take Dahlin and keep him over Tarasenko next season.

Ya you may have to make that decision next year but taking Dahlin will keep you solid in D for a while

I'd probably keep Rielly, Dahlin or Hellebuyck over Tank or Larkin.
