Not sure what a first means in your league. That being said, this guy is (1) overreacting to Buchnevich skating on the top line with Panarin and Zibanejad in practice and (2) probably overreacting to news of Bergeron still having groin issues. If a first means a pick in the first round after all teams have kept their 15, then you need to stop reading this and accept immediately.

Missed opportunity on the first offer. That was a steal. I keep saying it but this is a prefect example of rebuilds being a bad idea. You miss a great offer because being young is somehow more important than winning a trade. Go win your trades!

All things considered, I'm ok with the trade. But it would be nice to know what pick number that 1st was, and whether or not you have any special keeper rules for rookies.

No, you posted here instead of jumping on the offer right away which is what you have to do when a GM makes this level of mistake. You gave him just enough time to reflect.
