Easy Barzal, Grubs. In two years Barzal will outproduce Hall, and in a 14 team league getting a starting goalie on a decent team is gold.

It's a very reasonable trade imo. Generally, in those cases I'll take the best player and thats Hall. Kind of depends league to league how goalies are generally valued but with the info given and all other things equal I'll still take Hall.

That's a pretty easy yes. Only way I'd take Hall is if it's an extremely shallow league and guys like Barzal are bottom half of the roster players. Barzal is probably a tier below Hall and Grubs is looking like a top 10 starter on an up-and-coming young team. Barzal is younger too. Easy yes in most leagues.

This all depends if you believe in Grubauer or not. Goalies have shown the last few years that they can be wildly inconsistent and I’m not sure Grubauer has shown us enough yet that he is a solid number one guy.

Its a fair deal in my eyes. But if Im the one side I wouldnt trade for the other side if that makes sense
