    Spurgeon is a really underrated D-man, but this contract is awful. Not a good start for Billy G.

    Spurgeon is wildly (haha) underrated but that term is way too long.

    This screams Leopold more than Guerin though. He's said a lot of time how much he wanted to extend Spurgeon.

    I would have let him walk and give Brodin this contract next yr.

    Man, the Wild have 2 guys with contracts of 7+mill that ends when they're 40, why would they add another guy that will have his contract end at 37yrs old. And they have Zucc ending at 37... geez.
