    Default PK or Josi

Trying to decide my last keeper and it is down to these two. I can only choose one, trying to trade for picks before the draft in my league is like pulling teeth, so I will likely lose one of these guys for nothing. The last couple years I would have opted Josi without too much thought, but with PK in Jersey I am optimistic that he will have a big year. Although, I am nervous about him staying healthy. Josi has been set and forget the last few years for me so I like his floor better than PK. I think PK has the higher ceiling, at least this year. 10 team league, 8 keepers. My other keepers and league categories below.

Keepers - Vas, Seguin, Eichel, Pettersson, Panarin, Hall, E.Karlsson

Categories - Goals, Assists, PPP, SOG, ATOI, BLKS, Hits
    - Wins, GAA, SV%, SO

    Thanks for the input!

Still clearly Josi for me. He's as dependable as they come and while NSH hasn't added as much as NJ, Duchene should add a few pts to Josi's total, too.

Josi seems so much more stable. I'd lean toward him.

Right on. Thanks for the responses so far. This is the way I was leaning but I guess I'm always a "grass is always greener" type. Josi has been a staple on my team for a few years, whereas I picked up PK in a trade last year. Hopefully Nashville can figure out their PP going forward.

I think Subban should do very well in New Jersey, but I would still take Josi over him quite easily.

I like Josi here but its really close. Subban just didn't seem like a good fit in Nashville as he seems to like the spotlight and I think he will shine in Jersey.

They both have very similar scoring upside, I might give a slight edge to Josi there. His injury risk is a bit lower too so on both counts he’s be my choice inspite of the huge opportunity Subban has in NJ.

For me Josi is the safer bet. He should give you solid numbers, Subban who knows? Its tempting because of what New Jersey did this summer, but thats not guaranteeing a great year from PK.

I like Josi's stability here as well. PK could have a great season in NJ but until that happens I want Josi.

I like Josi for several reasons. His team is really good and the addition of Duchene is being underrated. Plugging him in with that cast could be the sort of catalyst they have been looking for. Josi has never really been The Man in NSH until now so there is likely some higher-hanging fruit up at a ceiling that has been unreachable until now. His deployment should be as good or better than its ever been. Career year wouldnt surprise me at all.
P.K. is moving into his athlete to celebrity transition nicely. Being in the NY metropolitan market will greatly increase opportunities for him to concentrate on other things besides hockey. I get the feeling he has an abrasive personality that didnt wear well in conservative cultures like Montreal and Nashville. Perhaps he will blossom and be the saviour. But Poile isnt a dummy and he didnt give Subban away that cheaply only because of the cap hit. He gave Subban away so the Preds could bring in Duchene to play with Josi. I am going to trust Poile here and assume he knows more than I do.
