How many teams in your league, how does the forward depth look in the draft, how fast do goalies normally go, and what do your current forwards look like?
Hi, im drafting 4 th overall. 2 slots for starting goalie and i already have Raanta...
In my league, fwds are accumulating more points than goalies.
That being said, decent goalies left for the draft are Price, Bishop, Grubauer, Dubnyk, Gibson, Varlamov.... and other not so worth of mention .
Since the goalies are a scarce, should I grab one right away or pick a fwd in the like of Huberdeau, Guentzel, etc??

There seem to be more fwds vailable. 12 teams league.
Theres just not alot of #1 goalies left
If there's a lot of forwards available, I would probably be good with taking one of Price or Bishop. If both of them are gone, I would likely take a forward and take my chances with whichever goalie is leftover.

Thats what im thinking as well. i like Grubauers chances as well based on the team in feon him.
If i may add, historically, the other GMs seems to draft goalies early as well... hence the dilema
I agree that Gubs and Gibson would be next. I just wonder if the drop off in Forwards balances with the drop off in goalies?
Or if you pick a third goalie after Bishop and Price, do you think that would set off a run where most of the first round is goalies?
Also, are Quick, Markstrom, and Schneider available?

Quick and schneider yes. Dubnyk as well.... but too me the first too are bandaid boys and Dubnyk play as decreased lately. Another thing im teying to do is to improve my Goalie keeper.... Raanta is not keeper caliber imo
Just looked at what should be available on my next turn and players such as backstrom, couture, e. Kane, Hertl, are available
Very fair. Bishop and Price sound like good options then.
If Guetzel and Hubs are available at the front of round one, do you think someone like Forberg, Radulov, Palmieri, or Dadonov would be available for your second pick?

Then definitely take the goalie.
