How much is MacKinnon worth?
Guy keeps throwing Dubois, 1, 2, 3 for Mackinnon, 12,13, 14. That seems like a steep price for MacKinnon given Dubois is no slouch with my cats. Plus no Duchene equals more opportunity for him. Is there any way I accept that trade?

Yeah yeah. Like you said, Dubois is no slouch with your cats and considering the picks, I thinks it is a too much....
I can see that you know how to play fantasy and I have drafted a solid team. That being said, I think that you can recover at the next draft by drafting smart and making some trades(maybe). MacKinnon is a top 5 talent in the league and would be great to have him as one of your 3 core players. On the other hand its just 3 keepers league and even if you have the best 3 keepers in the league that doesnt mean that you are going to have success. Its more about drafting and you are good at that. At the end its up to you - do you want to have MacKinnon in your team or not?

You can recoup loses from picks, but Mack >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dubois
This off-season I traded for Mack because I think he's in the top tier of players and they don't come around or become available all that often.

Is this pre or post draft? If it's pre draft, you're dropping Dubois anyway.

Great job! But for me its a lot different in a league with just 3 keepers compared to a league with more than 6-7 keepers. Also you are in a league that prospects are also in play..

It's a keep three. You're losing too much in the picks and you aren't making up that difference replacing Pasternak or gaudreau with Mackinnon.
Cut the quality of the picks and offer pasta or gaudreau instead.
Unless your draft is already completed and this is your team for the upcoming season. If that's the case you're going for the win early. Then it's tempting but you are putting yourself in a huge hole to start next season.
Mackinnons value is huge in my opinion. In most new leagues I'm only taking mcdavid and Kucherov before he's off the board. Dubois is solid but not even close to Mack.

If this is a deal after the redraft for this season then I absolutely take the deal. I would try and move pasta or Johnny for picks in the offseason to recoup picks. This is a “going for it” type deal that I love. Gives you two of the top 3 keepers imo. Even if next season is an “off year” because of picks, your three keepers are still so young that you’ll be able to build around them for years
If this is before your draft then no way. Mack is great. But he isn’t worth pasta and those 3 picks.
