Question Klingberg vs Krug in PO - Who to Keep?

For team in sig, I’ve got Krug now but could probably swap him straight with Klingberg, or for a slight pick upgrade at most. Who would you rather have?

I prefer Krug, steady producer on contract year. Klingberg have Heiskanen on his back.

They are very close. I'd probably go with Krug, though. It is possible Klingberg outpoints Krug, but I prefer the firepower in Boston and feel Krug is the safer option.

I'd go Krug, I think Heiskanen takes Klingbergs spot quicker than Cmac steals Krugs.

Krug has the edge for me as well because of consistency and the line he gets to play with.

Klingberg is right there too and as good as Heiskanen is he's not taking away Klingberg's fun minutes any more than McAvoy is taking Krug's. Heisk will take on tough matchups and big minutes but Kling has PP1 locked down until he leaves or gives Dallas a reason to make a change. Heisk has to wait his turn.

Krug for me. Klingberg's best seasons were when he was the only option for blueline offense. Now that Lindell and Heiskanen are there Klingberg will likely be trapped in the 50s. That's Krug's floor on Boston, and whatever team gets him as a UFA will want all the points from him that they can get.

For me it's a wash, but I wouldn't be trading what you have unless the other guy throws a good incentive or include an upgrade elsewhere to convince you. Let him force you to move

    basically splitting hairs.
FWIW.. I prefer volume shooters most of the time. Krug shoots a lot more.
I'm not near as worried about Heisk on PP1 with Kling as others. I think he's a rather proven commodity on that top unit. Why fix what ain't broke?

Decent chance I'll be able to draft Klinger anyways, as I have lots of early picks and LOVE to load up on high scoring D. Gives me quite a leg up on the rest of my league.
