Default Help me make my last few cuts

    Hi all,
Team and format in sig. I need to get under our cap by cutting about 22 million. I have decided on a few moves:

Move to farm: Farabee, Chytil, Hayton, L. Andersson, Gurianov, Verroneau, Shesterkhin (I have 3 spots left for our 3 round entry draft)

CUT: Felhaber, Wolanin, Ekblad, Sanheim, Dzingel, Lindblom. This will save me 17 and change.

Now I trying to decide between: Perron, Zuccarello and Ellis. Both Perron and Zuccarello have the same upside according to the fantasy material from Dobber. Zuccarello offers 2 million more in cap relief than Perron. Ellis is also expensive now at 6.25, but might Ellis move up the chain with Subban leaving? Any one have any advice, or other thoughts on drops?

    1. Ellis is now a top 2 defenseman in Nashville, so he's moved up the depth chart.

    2. I'm unsure why Sorokin isn't going to your farm.

    3. I'm guessing you are cutting Lindblom due to him being a 30-40 point player, but he's on a ELC. I think I might rather cut Sikura, who is also on a ELC.

    4. I'd take Zuccarello over Perron, cap savings on similar players is good.

I wish I could move Sorokin to the farm. Unfortunately there is an age limit on our farm and he just passed it, so if I want to keep him, he needs to stay on my main roster.
Yes on Lindblom. He's more money than Sikura, which is why I was leaning that way. Some say the potential upside on Sikura is greater, but it is going to be a wait until we get there.

Cut both Zucc and Perron, keep Sanheim and have some cap flexibility for moves later in the season.

    ditto this move.

Zucc and Perron would be redraftable..i might even argue Ellis would be at 6.25 as well but thats not a chance id take right now.
