Soderstrom or Seider is your best bet on D.

I'm partial to McMichael and grabbed him at 18 in my dynasty draft. Easy path up to the bigs, no real flaws in his game, coming out of the Knights system is usually a bonus, scored 2 points in a 5-2 loss at the prospects tourney yesterday (though I haven't followed that too closely).

I like me some Rees, numbers are low, because of some injuries, and a stupid suspension last year.
Totally his fault, but didn't help him.
If he matures a bit, will be solid 2nd liner.

Totally tsold me on Soderstrom- then he got poached right before my pick- lmao! I took Lavoie- this is a league that already counts pims and SHP and I wouldnt be surprised if we add hits down the line. I like guys who carry their weight even if theyre not scoring. If he can iron out his consistency issues I think he has gamebreaking upside- especially with the McDavid factor looming. I might be landing another third here and have McMichael and Rees on my radar. McMichael is such an odd case. You hate hearing hed be a solid fourth liner- but apparently hes got the IQ to mesh on l1/l2 as well. be interesting to see how he develops.

Lavoie in MC will become a stud. Just not overnight.
I've always like McMichael, I'd put him on the 4yr breakout trajectory path.
    I'd have Rees 3rd

I'd be willing to grab Nick Robertson right in this mix as well.. That kid never should have dropped near as far as he did. Cam Robinson had him mid-1st in his mocks.
lastwordonhockey gave him a stylistic comparison to Theo Fleury.
Coaches in prospect camp had to ask him to dial back his intensity. He has 1 speed and it's 100%. It doesn't dip during a shift.
He's smart, disciplined, works harder than everyone else.
