The link mentions there has been some indication that Pulj would be open to trying again in Edmonton, but I haven't seen that said anywhere else. Did I miss something?

This time last year, it seemed like Puljujarvi had played his final game as a member of the Edmonton Oilers. Last summer, he requested a trade, seeking a change of scenery from Edmonton, where the first few years of his career hadn’t gone according to plan. He then went on to play the entirety of the 2019-20 season in Finland.

But, as time has gone along, the possibility of the further fourth-overall pick giving his Oilers career another shot has been given new life. Back in June, Puljujarvi said “never say never” when asked about his future with the Oilers.

There are going to be lots of prospects who start the the 20/21 season in Europe since the AHL won't be starting until December. It will be interesting to see how this affects rosters once the next NHL season starts.

Puljujarvi's best plan is to light it up in Finland then sign a short deal with the Oilers. There is lots of room for him on the Oilers lineup. Their top 4 RWers last game were, in order, Josh Archibald, Kailer Yamamoto, Zack Kassian, Alex Chiasson. THat does not seem like it should be difficult for Puljujarvi to take one of their roster spots.

Oh man, thanks for this. I might try and see if I can get Pool Party cheap in my one dynasty league that allows trading...hoping that they haven't been keeping up on any news!
