Trade question - feedback plz!
Good day, I have been talking to the owner of Forsberg, and we were talking a deal of my Keller and a 6 for Forsberg and a 4, just preliminary talks. The other gm is willing to do more of a straight up deal after next year, as he recognizes Keller has 70+ upside, but as talks have progressed it sounds like he wants more to get a deal done. Along the lines of Keller/3 (40th overall) for Forsberg. I’m picking 1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6. I’d be moving my lower 3, and even if I do I’ll still have 2 extra picks and finish in Rd 7. 3rd rd last year featured guys like RNH, Pietrangelo, m thachuk, O’Reilly, Larkin, Dahlin, Rielly, etc just to give you an idea, so some good talent but it’s a keeper so best talent is kept already. Of the guys listed, I believe just Thachuk and dahlin are being held onto. My signature apparently
Isn’t showing up, but goals are 3 pts to assists 2, ppg are 1 to ppa 0.5, gwg 1, short handed goals 2, shootout goals 1, etc. Keller would be my 2 year keeper, Forsberg is a 3 and would stay that way on my team. So i’d Have Boeser (2), Forsberg/Barkov (3) and draisaitl 4, with Hart as rookie. Am I better off keeping Keller/the extra pick, or bite the bullet and take the goals with Forsberg?
