The NHL's investigation was only about the appearance or powder in a video and not an actual failed drug test if I'm not mistraken. That said....

Worth noting NHL CBA doesn't call for suspension in cases of recreational drugs. Might not even warrant visit from Substance Abuse Behavioral Health Prgm drs unless "dangerously high level for a drug of abuse such that it causes concern for health or safety of player or others"

Whats really sad is he denied using drugs back in May when videos popped up showing him at a table with "two lines of white powder".
