New Fantrax H2H Points Keeper League

By "Points" I do mean points. Skaters get 1 point for every actual point, and that's it. Goalies get 2 points for a Win, 1 for OTL/SOL, 2 as a bonus for SO.

H2H, every game lasts 2-3 days. There are 71 game periods (probably 62 in the regular season and 9 in the playoffs (three rounds, each best-of-three)), each encompassing at least 15 NHL games.

In every game period, you start 11 players (G, D, D, D, D, LW, LW, C, C, RW, RW), and each of them can only play 1 game (if he has 2 games during the game period, pick one).

The total roster size is 30.

Up to 3 FA signings per week.

The inaugural draft will be conducted on September 28.

Before every consecutive draft, you can protect up to 10 players (up to 2 G, up to 4 D, up to 2 LW, up to 2 C, up to 2 RW). If you protect N players, you miss the first N rounds of the draft.

You can also protect up to 3 rookies. Protecting N rookies will cost you N last picks of the draft (Rounds 30, 29, 28...)

And you can protect up to 3 "sophomores" (players who are not rookies but who haven't played 100 NHL games yet (70 for goalies)). Protecting N rookies will cost you picks 21-2N of the draft.

So basically, if you want an active but not overly complex league, which also has keepers and some long-term prospect development, this one is probably for you.
