    Thoughts?

    Vs dobber’s?

    https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-project...20/c-290800452

I don’t see any surprise here but am actually impressed so many are projected to hit 80+.. usually there aren’t that many no?

I think Hughes at 61 is low and dobber has him in the 70s
    Pettersson 77
    Zibanejad 82
    Benn 70
Matthews in 90 (if he plays 82GP)

NHL.com had Benn hitting 70. That's quite a bit higher than Dobber.
And they have D. Toews hitting 40! I hope they're right on both. haha.

Matthews gonna do 100 this year.
I write that just as basis to posting a (not-so-flattering) picture of him.
Apparently he has been traded by the Leafs to Arizona State - probably clearing cap space for Marner.

Bold statement! I am skeptical of that but time will tell. I think JT's usage will always hamper Matthew's total output and will continue to make him a good bet for 70-80pts most seasons, but not much more than that.

100pts is possible for three Leafs this year.
Matthews didn't have the greatest wingers helping him to that 88pt pace last year. No Nylander for the 1st 20 games, Marleau for the majority.
A full season of Nylander and an effective second winger he should be in good shape.
Marner & JT will take care of each other

Thats still not 100 pts, and you're fooling yourself if you dont believe that JT doesn't cut into his time.

    Agreed.

example: this year OT goes to 3v3. Who gets the opportunity to be part of that first wave 3v3? Reilly or Barrie? then Matthews or Tavares? Marner?

if JT wasn't there, Matthews would've been the go to guy in ANY situation. TOR are so deep that anyone can take prime time

Taro Hirose for 43 points? Isnt that bold or what?!
Eric Staal at 49 could make him a sleeper candidate for sure.

Hintz and Hischier even at 53? I dont see it. As much as I like Hintz for this upcoming season, Hischier is still the guy how I expect to socre more points.

Hughes 61, Kakko 60 - I like that Jack is winning this one by a point

Just for the record I totally expect Benn to hit 70.
