Another who to keep question

Hi,

It is keeper selection time in one of my leagues. Here are the details

Keep 7: 1 at each position plus 2 of any position other than goalies
H2H Stats: G, A, P, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, FW, HIT, BLK Goalie Stats: W GAA SV SHO
3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D, 2G, 2Util

C: MacKinnon, Matthews, Zibanejad, J. Staal, Stepan
LW: Meier (RW), Pacioretty, Mantha (RW), Schwartz
RW: Atkinson, Gallagher, Palmieri
D: Krug, Byfuglien, Doughty, Pulock, DeAngelo
G: Rask, Gibson, Rittich, Mrazek

In bold are the sure fire keepers. Then I am leaning heavily towards keeping Zibs as well, he was a monster in this league last season. The wingers and D are a bit less clear. I am hesitating between two of Meier, Mantha, Atkinson and Gallagher at wing and Krug and Buf at D. Right now I am thinking Meier and Atkinson.

Am I right about this? Should I try to trade one of Matthews or Zib for an improvement at wing?

It’s minimum one at each position and then 2 additional so up to 3 of each position but only one goalie?

It is 7 keepers total, 1 at each position + 2 others at any position except goalie. So any combination up to 3 at one position but always only one goalie.

For example, 3C 1RW 1LW 1D 1G or 1C 2RW 1LW 2D 1G, etc.

I am less into keeping dmen and I think buff bc of age and injuries will fall in drafts this year. I like zibs as a multicat guy with fows. This also lets you focus on wingers or goalie for your first few rounds and not worry about picking up a center only till much later

Always keep your eyes out for trades but don’t overshoot if you don’t have to.

Both Meier and Mantha have dual wing eligibility. I just edited Meier's positions.

So do you mean Mantha instead of Atkinson as my RW keeper?

Just realized I forgot to include Anders Lee in the mix at LW... Does it change anything?

yes i would probably keep mantha ahead of Atkinson but its not bid deal either way...
