Do you guys think/know if these eligibility are set in stone for the year or if there's a possibility some of them get back to dual/triple eligibility at some point? I'm particularly interested in Stamkos getting back his RW.

    Thanks

Your guess is as good as ours. Yahoo tends to add more throughout the season but given that they removed some of them even after Yahoo opened (usually it's just in the offseason) makes me wonder if they'll add those back.

Yahoo tends to overdo it when it comes to positions so if you think a player should be eligible for a position chances are he will be by the end of October.

Kinda looks like they're trying to cut out all of the triple position eligibility. Makes sense, how often does any player every play all 3 forward positions?

Typically Yahoo adds positions but doesn't remove them after the season starts.

So you'll see some positions added but none removed, doesn't seem to be a # of games at said position or what in order to gain a positions, seems to be done like quarterly I think??

They take into consideration PP unit position too, so Stammer playing on the wing will probably get W back?

Seems to be a little too inconsistent to answer properly lol

I think its 10 games at a position, and then it gets added.

Generally I agree about how they don't remove positions during the season but add only. However, this is the first time I've noticed them removing positions after the game has opened. For example, when it opened on the 15th, Stamkos had C,RW eligibility. But only a few days later, RW was removed. If they decide to add it back, then it's though they've admitted they made a mistake. Could happen so we'll see.

Don't think there are any set eligibility rules, as it's a judgement call based on various sources ( remember them telling me this a few years back but could have changed). But if there were set rules, then we would probably be able to see it, like baseball.

Yahoo has no set standard. They have their stats/info provider and it's all on them. If they decide Erik Karlsson is a LW then that's what he's going to be.
