    Hard to say but I believe he has the skills to be a legit number in the future.
    Points only keeper. 12 Teams. No pos requirements. 18 skaters / 3 goalies (2 count for points.) G/A = 1 point each (includes goalies) Goalies = 1.5 for W / 4.5 for SO. Minors - 4 year protection. Prospects added during their draft year only. Undrafted = waivers.

    I'm not at all concerned about DePietro being a roadblock. Markstrom is a much bigger concern, being in the last year of his contract. I wouldn't be shocked if Vancouver tried to re-sign Markstrom on a short-term deal (2 or 3 years). I think Demko can be a number one goalie, but I think it's 50 percent at best that this happens by next year.

    I am confident he will get the opportunity to become Vancouvers #1 at some point. Whether he is successful or not is TBD. He's the real deal as far as a quality prospect goalie but thats the only thing he's the real deal in so far.
