    Default Laine for Pastrnak

    10 team H2H, 11 category, keep 7 any combo.

In a 1 for 1 straight across, who wins this trade for the next 2 and then 3 and beyond?

    G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, GWG, SOG
    WINS, GAA, SAVES, SHUTOUTS.

Thanks for any feedback, I expect it to be pretty close.

I'm more confident in Pastrnak being the more consistent producer going forward.

Yeah I’m not sure this will be close...when Laine was drafted 40 G 85 points was where most saw him with some upside for 50 but still 85 points.

Pasta is there already and appears to be consistent...at best Laine can do the same...give me proven youngster here...

I'd also lean Pastrnak, because he's basically where we expected Laine to be by now, more or less, and hasn't disappointed. I'd break it down like this:

Could it be close, perhaps slightly favoring one of them? Yes.
Could it be not close, favoring Laine, barring injury to Pastrnak? I seriously doubt it.
Could it be not close, favoring Pastrnak, barring injury to Laine? I can see that happening, not likely, but possible.

Pastrnak is quite a bit better of a player and doesn't have any glaring red flags in his attitude or his production.

Those character/consistancy issues are concerning with Laine who is too much of a "one trick pony" so far and will have to learn to use his line mates better and improve his transition game up the ice for this to be close.

Ultimately they both have a high ceiling with regards to their potential but Pasta seems better equipped to reach it with regularity.

Appears I misjudged both players' currently, but also perhaps their trajectories? I too am a Laine believer, and I thought he'd maybe close the gap quicker than the replies are indicating.

I like both players immensely but feel like I maybe got a much needed tutorial here?

Another vote for Pastrnak. Both are young, but Pastrnak has shown more and has done it consistently as opposed to Laine, who has been very up and down in his young career.
