Hey guys

If i would trade Auston Matthews...what would be a good return in my multicat h2h league!?

What Defender or what Wing would be fair?

I really like Brady Tkachuk in my format but is he a good return?
Which other wing would be great?

Erik Karlsson?or should i look for a younger Defender?which one?

I'm going to assume this is for the league in your signature, and I will also assume that you're wanting to do a 1 for 1 based on roster space?

It looks you're good at center, good on defense and goal, but a little underwhelming on the wing especially on the right side. So that's where I start my quest looking for answers.

Those are the only ones I would even consider in a one for one and I honestly think you might be able squeeze out a little more with all but Kuch, be it a draft pick or prospect or whatever.

If you're looking at defense, I wouldn't consider anyone that's not top 10 in the league. Burns, Kalrsson, Reilly, Carlson, etc. I wouldn't go one for one on anyone but Burns though.

That would have to be a good pick. Connor stole that 1st line wing spot, and recently Laine publicly commented about not being in Winnipeg next year. That might hurt his position with the team, so you'd be risking losing value this year unless he were to get dealt into a favorable position early on.

I'm not sure you'll find many who will give up Kucherov or Marner for Matthew's, especially in a league that doesnt have FOW as a category but it never hurts to ask.

The Kane owner (I'm assuming this is Patrick and not Evander you're referring to) might bite. To be honest, Evander is probably more valuable in this league than Patrick.

RW is definitely where you need help. I'd be hitting up the Mark Stone or David Pastrnak owners to see if there's interest.

You need to pump up Matthews value and sell him for his age, potential, pedigree (1st overall), etc. You'll probably find a Maple Leafs fan that is over valuing him and get the moon from him. There's not much 1 for 1 I would do for him at the wing so at least try to get an elite/great winger and a + like a high first rounder or elite prospect.

Why not keep Matthews and see which RW Stamkos will fetch you in the trade market? McDavid, Seguin and Matthews on the same team would be deadly for years. Not sure I’d want to break that up.

That sucks. If it were me, I'd put both on the block and see what offers you get for either guy and take the best offer.
