Hey, see format in signature...someone offered me Pettersson and 1st for macKinnon and last pick (15th). some players avail in first round include Malkin, Kessel, Kuznetsov, Hertl, Fleury, Binnington, Holtby, Murray, Krug, Barrie.
Should I pull the trigger?
I currently don't own a 1st round pick.

Even if it was a top 3 pick probably sill not worth it...knowing it is 8th then that would be a hard NO for me.

Yeah that's a hard no for me too. I love Pettersson, and I really think he'll be in that top tier with Mackinnon... eventually. But I'd need to be getting back Pettersson and someone like Hughes to consider it.

In a keep 5 - the goal is to have the 5 most elite keepers possible.
I wonder if Pettersson is a bubble keeper for the OGM anyway.
Might even be available to draft in 1st round.

If you feel like a challenge and rebuild, then you could have Pettersson & Hughes (8th overall when theres still binnington, etc, you may have good chances Hughes is avail at 8) and build from there..but then you are not competing this year and in a keep 5 you try to compete every year..
your Wheeler & Burns are also getting old, soon you WILL need (in next 2 years) to replace those with younger keepers, and Pettersson & hughes could be the start of your rebuild
