Each team keeps 11 players so assume top 110 players are already off the board
I get: Monahan and 1st rounder
He gets: Draisatl and last rounder
Thoughts are draisatl regresses from shot% and ends up similar to Monahan, the extra pick benefits me shoring up either defense or goalie depending on whats available

My keepers as now are:
Kucherov RW
Draisatl C
Panarin LW
Rantanen RW
Gaudreau LW
Barkov C
Hall LW
Klingberg D
Chabot D
Hart G
Markstrom or Raanta G

He would also take Barkov but may decrease pick

Keep Draisaitl. That 1st rounder isn't enough to offset the gap between the two players. Keep Barkov too.

I'm keeping Draisatl and Barkov over Monahan by a large margin.

What type of players are available with these picks?
Are they prospects or re-draft players?

Regardless, Barkov and Draisatl are on a whole other tier, in my opinion, compared to Monahan.

Ok so that makes it like you said in you follow up post - Monahan & Hughes / Kakko for Draisatl or Barkov.

How does you farm / minor system work?
Do you have to sacrific a keeper spot to take on Hughes / Kakko at the end of the year or can you stash him somewhere?

I think that would sway my decision depending on your answer.

For a 10 team league, your roster is pretty stacked already.
Any way you can pull in a G instead of Monahan?

In that case I’d only do a deal like that if you could upgrade your goalies.

Kakko and Hughes will end up being what you already have on your roster but you’ll probably have to wait a couple years until they get there.

Monahan almost becomes your drop unless you only keep 1 goalie.

I do the deal, and drop your second goalie. Take whichever of Hughes or Kakko falls, unless there's somebody else out there unexpected you like better.
