Default Your 3rd overall selection in 2019 draft (multicat) - REP

Hey Dobberities, who would you take at 3rd overall from this year's draft in a 20 team H2H multicat league? Counts stantard categories + SOG/HIT/BLK/FOW.

I'm assuming Hughes/Kakko will go 1/2. I'm deciding between Turcotte/Byram/Dach, Zegras/Caufield/Podkolzin could be an option, but that's it.

    Thanks!

Podkolzin if you're willing to gamble and go for the big swing. Turcotte is you're inclined to play it safe.

You could probably trade down a few spots to get Pods if you wanted to go that route as well.

I'd take Turcotte at #3. He's slowly building a bit of an island around himself as the 3rd best F in the draft.

After him as far as forwards go... Cozens, Podkolzin & Zegras would be my next three to consider in MC leagues.
Depending on the value of D in your pools then Byram enters the conversation at 3 as well. If there's a D bonus - then I'd be looking closer at him there.

I think there are quite a few similar threads already on this topic, but let's just say I would go Turcotte for sure.

If you do a search on "Turcotte" you'll find quite a few similar threads asking who to draft after 1-2 go. We all know who they will be. Just this week:

This is also a good thread to check out. Bstbullies has been tracking drafts and showing where most are getting drafted.

For the record, I'm still all about Turcotte for 3rd overall.

I have changed up my rankings a little bit in recent weeks, but Turcotte has had that 3rd spot locked down forever. I've moved Podkolzin up for multi-cat leagues, I'm becoming more of a believer viewing his VHL stats in context, and draft year performance relative to a prospect like Denisenko who has shown elite offensive skills in international play against the best of his peers. I've also moved Boldy up a little bit ahead of Newhook and Krebs, who I've flipped largely due to the fact that I see Newhook as more of a goal scorer / bulk shooter than Krebs. I got MacKinnon vibes watching him in the U18s, just cutting into the slot using his strong core and firing pucks with reckless abandon.

i guess my low level trolling joke was missed. It was more a comment on your last 50 draft thread responses where you've had Turcotte #3 in all of them. Heh.
