    Default Final Keepers Decision

    G A P PPP PIM +/- SOG

    14 team league H2H Keep 3 C, 3 RW, 3 LW, 3 D, 1 G keepers are as follows

    Eichel
    B Schenn
    Kuz
    Gaudreau
    Panarin
    Pavelski
    Guentzel
    Stone
    Wheeler
    Ghost
    Prov
    Letang
    Holtby

Potential keepers are also Troy Terry, Ryan Poehling, Morgan Frost, Ryan Donato. Would you keep any of these young players over anyone seen on the list? Thinking about keeping one of them over Pavelski as he is aging, granted still will likely put up decent numbers in Dallas. Also Schenn didn't have a great year, considering keeping one of the said younger players over him as well. I likely have a chance to win this year, but i also want to plan for the future. Thank you in advance for your advice/opinions, any info will help.

I think you nailed the list.

I would not keep Terry, Poehling, Frost or Donato over any of those players.

Production over potential, first and foremost.

At best those prospects match the output of a down year from Schenn or Pavelski.

At worst you'll drop them before the beginning of the season because there's better players on the wire.

There's no one you're considering that will help you in any meaningful way this year.
In a 14 TM league you've got a real strong list of keepers. You have to be top half of your league, if not top 3rd. Your decisions need to be all about winning.
    Screw the future. Win now.

Go with the list you have. Some nice prospects but none that I'd keep over any listed above.

Thanks for the input guys. I sometimes get caught up in the idea of young players potential. I have a window to try and win so going to take advantage by keeping the more proven players.

One option... maybe package Frost/Terry with your last keeper to a rebuilding team to improve your keeper set.
