I need to lock in my keepers in a couple weeks and here are my thoughts:
1. Barkov
2. Seguin
3. Scheifele
4. Pettersson
5. Gustafsson
6. Vasilevskiy
The other options:
- Trocheck
- Keller
- Provorov
- (I traded Svechnikov for a pick)
I’m sorta on the fence with keeping Gustafsson, but I don’t really like the idea on not keeping any dmen

I am not convinced on Gustafsson but many are. I would consider keeping Provorov over him but Gustafsson should be on par with him for at least this coming season.

Yes that’s exactly the issue. Dmen (because they generate extra points) are at a premium in the league and so all the top guys are always kept. For example, last year the best Dmen available in the draft were players like Butcher (however it was a keep 8)
Going into the draft with no d keepers is really not ideal due to their value, which is why I’m planning on keeping Gus over another forward

In a 16 team league, would you be able to trade 2 or 3 players to a team that has a dman that they can part with??Try Trochek Keller and Gustafsson for ??
Or maybe even do a bigger trade involving Scheifele??
If no trade are available, I would keep those 6..

Keep the 6 you listed. Don’t second guess Gus, he’s a monster. There are a lot of guys sleeping on him, don’t be one of those guys. He was a top 3 D in points since December 1st. I’m super bullish on him and call me crazy, but I think he could possibly get you 70 points this year. More likely in the 60’s which is still great.
