Trading for Drouin
Got an offer of:
Drouin and 2019 2nd Round Pick for my OEL and 2020 4th Round Pick.
My initial reaction is hold onto OEL, since he's more consistent and fills the peripheral categories. Drouin had a strong start to the season last year, but had a terrible 4th quarter. So which Drouin is the real Drouin and would you guys take this deal?

I own Drouin and what I've found at this point is that I have to row that boat all the way across the sea and hope there's paradise over the horizon. There's not enough value there to justify that move unless you're banking on Drouin finally living up to his billing. I have to, you don't so you shouldn't, not for that price.

Hard pass. Drouin is hard to predict and OEL could put up career numbers for reasons already mentioned.

I own Drouin in a points-only keeper, and I would gladly trade him plus a draft pick kicker for OEL.
And that's WITHOUT peripherals.
In other words, I would also keep OEL if I were in your position.

Keep OEL. As a frustrated Drouin owner waiting for him to blossom ....I wouldn't take the chance! Plus I feel Phoenix will be a much better team, especially on the power play.

If it's for the team in your signature, I don't think it matters what you do -- that is a freaking awesome team if it were a 10, hell even an 8 team league, let alone a 16 team league!
But to answer your question, hold onto OEL. Drouin's first half of last year makes him intriguing, but you don't need to swing for any fences.

Hold Ekman-Larsson, Drouin is a solid player, but not really at the level he was supposed to be.
