you can probably add lehner/crawford , varlamov/greiss to your list too .
Theres a number of middle of the pack to below average tandems this season and it's going to be tough to decide when to take one or both of them in drafts. Some of these are true 1a-1b tandems, and some are situations where you probably want the handcuff either because the starter will flip throughout the year or the backup might just play a lot (30+ games).
How do you rank these goalie pairings and what kind of % split do you expect?

At quick glance Hart, Mrazek and Schneider stick out to me the most.
Tried to rank the teams based on how I think they'll finish comparatively in the standings and then the goalie start ratios.

I think Hart, and Quick are clear starters. But anyways I'd go something like
Hart
Big gap
Quick
Varly
Mrazek
Rittich/Talbot
Koskinen
Schneider
Raanta
Lehner
Merzlikins
Howard
Greiss
KuemperCrawford
I am a bit of a Quick truther though so I could understand knocking him down a few.

Wow, excellent thread to display how unpredictable and how hard it is to value goalies in fantasy. Only a few responses and they are all over the place. I’m not even going to attempt to rank them, but I’ll sit back and enjoy the replies.

I'll just pick some names from your list that I like to exceed their likely draft position and put up value:
Hart - although he may be valued highly, he should play 50+ games and put up relatively good numbers
Raanta - if he can stay healthy, he's going to have a monster season. Book it (if he's healthy). I'm very confident in his ability (if he can stay healthy). Are you sensing a theme here?
Mrazek - he's going to get most of the looks in Carolina. I'd expect 50-55 starts, and Nedeljkovic mixing in along with Reimer. Should be a very good season incoming.
Lehner - Hawks have a pretty soft schedule in terms of opponents' Goals For and their defense is much improved with the additions of de Haan and Maatta (helps shelter Seabrook better and help out Murphy taking the heavy load). I think Lehner was brought in to be "the guy" for the Hawks future. He should see 45-50 starts, and could push 25 wins with solid ratios. He's the real deal. Long-term upside here, as well. If they run Keith-Gustafsson for their top pair getting offensive zone starts regardless of competition, they could use de Haan and Murphy to shoulder most of the heavy defensive load, allowing Maatta to thrive in a more sheltered role perhaps with Seabrook.
Talbot / Rittich - whichever one ends up getting most of the starts. That's an elite team. I kinda get the feeling the organization doesn't love Rittich, given that they turned to Smith in the playoffs -- and then brought in a somewhat maligned veteran for the same $ aav. I am half expecting Talbot to end up starting 55 games and finishing inside the top 10-15 fantasy goalies.
Schneider - bounceback, getting most of the starts on a vastly improved Devils team
Varlamov / Greiss - if one of these guys goes down with injury, the other will have major value. Otherwise, I think it's going to be pretty close to a split like we saw last season. 60/40 for Varlamov because, despite the fact he's injury prone, it's unlikely Greiss repeats his statistical dominance from last year. I think people overrate the value of the Trotz/Korn defensive system and goalie coaching, but it's a good system and there's value in it.
Ullmark - I like him, too, but there are a lot of better options on this list. I think the Sabres should probably increase his workload, and I wouldn't be surprised if he starts more games than Hutton this year transitioning into the #1 / 1A role.

I am having the same problem comparing the two of them but I would probably gamble on Talbot getting back to being good with a strong Calgary team in from of him. High risk/high reward. Greiss is lower risk but is limited (especially if wins is important) on a weaker NYI team.
