Yes, I just checked those lists out, which was helpful. Most have Turcotte going 3rd, a couple 4th, and I think one he went 5th. Most also have Byram 4th, in a couple he's 3rd. I saw Caufield went 3rd in one, but usually he was 5th or lower.

Gotta be Turcotte, especially if you're looking for safe. He's just about guaranteed to be a productive 2C at worst. That isn't a knock on his upside, either, as he's got some of the highest offensive upside in the 2019 draft. He's a capable goal scorer, fantastic skater, great vision, solid defensively ... you get the idea. His complete game is going to get him meaningful opportunities earlier in his career than some other top prospects in my opinion, and he should be a one and done player in college.

The wait won't be long, and the upside is sky high. Turcotte is the best bet 3rd overall.

If it were a multi-cat league, I would think about this one because Comtois should be putting up points this season, but especially in a points-only format Turcotte's upside is so much higher than Comtois it should be well worth the wait.

his timeline is certainly longer but he has Ryan Getzlaf written all over him IMO.

I'd strongly consider moving back a couple spots if you are stuck on whom to draft. When I see a bunch of players I have ranked similarly sitting there, or about to be sitting there, I make sure to see what offers are out there. Since it's pre-draft, now is a good time to do that.

I'd take Byram and Im a Kings fan who is fairly bullish on Turcotte. I think Turcotte will be ROR-like, which is awesome for LA and eventually he'll be a great fantasy player. But I think Byram will be a very good offensive D man on a team with a lot of guns to distribute it to.
